Dr.A P J Abdul KalamWas one of a kind.His Birth Anniversary,which falls on 15 October,is celebrated as Student's Day.

QUICK FACTS ABOUT KALAM:

Kalam served as the President of India from 2002 to 2007.
Kalam missed an opportunity to become a fighter Pilot for the Indian Air Force.
Kalam wrote a number of books including his autobiography"Wings Of Fire"which sheds light on his childhood,personal life and career.
The house in which Kalam grew up in,which is located in the Mosque Street,Rameshwaram has been converted into a museum.
